We have had a lot of requests to hold a sourdough class at the farm – and so have booked in a date for the first class. If you would like to find out how to turn a bowl of liquid starter into a finished loaf of bread, book you place to come and learn in our bakery.
We will cover the following topics: making a starter, choosing your ingredients, mixing your dough, bulk fermentation, shaping your loaf, final proof and baking you loaf.
You will get to take away a freshly baked loaf, a loaf ready to bake at home, a banneton, your own homemade starter. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
